Glenfarclas 25 Year
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed April 23, 2021 (edited November 14, 2021)Cracking whiskey. Nice sherry influence. Finish lingers for hours. Dried fruits, spices come to the fore. Dried leaves pop up, things like tobacco and mint leaves ring through. -
Egan's Fortitude Single Malt
Single Malt — Ireland
Reviewed April 16, 2021 (edited November 6, 2021)Not sure on this one, massive sherry on the nose, but doesn't smell like a quality px cask. Nice but slightly medicinal. Mostly get dry sherry notes. Some chocolate, but not an overly complex whiskey. -
Glendalough 17 Year Mizunara Finish
Single Malt — Ireland
Reviewed March 26, 2021 (edited January 11, 2022)Amazing whiskey, vanilla, exotic fruits, pineapple and coconut. Another flavour in there that lingers and is so hard to place, but it's got to be the mizunara. Beautiful whiskey. -
Glendalough Double Barrel Single Grain
Single Grain — Ireland
Reviewed March 26, 2021 (edited December 10, 2021)Raisins, figs, dried fruits. Nice, no big flavours, but they all complement each other. A little bit older and some more complexity, could be a great whiskey. Slightly spicy finish, doesn't last too long.
