This is the best version of OGD, it has the best flavor and burn, while still being extremely sippable. For the price this is a great daily drinker.

I get lots of vanilla and worthers on the nose and plenty of that sweetness on the tongue, the burn could be longer but it makes up for it in flavor. This was one of the best pours of 2015 and I'm very glad I have a second bottle.

Barrel Proof - I like this bourbon, it has solid burn and good aroma, the after taste is almost smokey and the flavor on the tongue is the best version of Jack Daniels I've sampled. It falls short in complexity and the charcoal filtering probably takes a little bit out of it. Despite getting a lot of flack for being a macro-produced whiskey distiller, I give this one solid marks.

128 proof. Vanilla, sriracha, green apples on the nose. Candy, pears, raisins on the tongue. Smooth liquid, viscous mouth feel... Swishes easy. Strong, pleasant burn all the way down, lingers on the tongue with a pleasant after taste. 5*

Oak, rubber, black tea on the nose. Sweet, cinnamon, brown sugar, toffee on the tongue. Soft mouth feel, not thin but not syrupy either. Sweeter finish, mellow burn that lasts just long enough.
