Tastes

Overly smooth and easy. Lacking in flavor and depth. Light vanilla, caramel, cinnamon, and oak. A good bourbon that pairs well, but I'd rather taste its competitors in this price range.

Sweet cherry along with a strong combination of caramel, vanilla, and oak on the palate. Persistent cinnamon on its medium finish. Prominent alcohol taste. Great representation of the bourbon style to show any newcomer.

Moderate citrus and vanilla with a little spice and medium-length finish. Buttery and pleasant. Good choice for a scotch beginner like myself, but I prefer something with more punch.

Potent vanilla with a strong, biting finish. The sips varied between smooth and harsh with the lingering alcohol. For the price, I'm pleasantly surprised. This would definitely make a good cocktail.

Strong aroma of varnish and fruit. Reminiscent of port on the nose, possibly from the combination of caramel, cinnamon, and cocoa. The fruit/citrus comes through with a lingering alcohol punch. The light vanilla and prominent spices are very warming.
