A true step above the ordinary Tanqueray. Not sure it's worth the price-point, but very good -- makes an excellent dry martini, up with olives or a twist.

In Puerto Rico (where they know a thing-or-two about rum) this outsells Bacardi 3-1. As a bartender told me in San Juan: "Bacardi is for the touristas!

A pleasant, unique palate awaits. Not one of my everyday martini gins, but a nice change of pace that doesn't break the bank.

Tried this Pappy for the first time in 2002. It cost me $70 at the time. It was indescribably wonderful. However, since folks with more money than impulse control have driven the price into outer space, I'll chose to not go where some had never gone before. Still, I can only hope that sanity will return to the marketplace.
