Tastes

Nose is sliced yellow apples and citrus. Taste is slightly tart with a mid-range dark tone. This is very similar to Johnnie Walker Red but a bit more refined.

I like this for a simple light scotch that I don't have to think about and analyze while drinking it. Perfect while sitting in the pool with some friends and chatting. Nice with some soda, boring neat but drinkable nonetheless.

Currently my personal favorite bourbon! Very nice classic bourbon taste. Nose is vanilla/butterscotch and caramel. Taste has some heat, subtle sweetness and a prominent rye spiciness. Finish is buttery caramel. I've found that the addition of water gives it a slight tartness, so I prefer it neat. I sip a shot of this for about an hour and I am happy.

Tastes cheap and harsh. Lick a wet ashtray and a dirty wood floor. Never again!

Thin, smooth, butterscotch, grainy, nutty and mild oak. Basic but very drinkable. Good as a daily sipper or mixer.
