Tastes

A complex, dark pour with notes of cherry, cinnamon, a dry charcoal-like Lincoln county process vibe, earthy, and a dark, almost Amburana wood note. I've cooled off on it since opening, but the complexity keeps it at a high score.

The nose: peanuts and weird rum-funk. Did someone switch bottles on me? The palate: Still a slight Foursquare like rum ethanol note, but also honey, waxy, powdered sugar, and a oak-y drying mouthfeel. Not as good as advertised or as I initially thought.

Brown sugar and banana unite: you cannot go wrong with this palate. The age is a slight issue making it rough around the edges, but it's a great value. (Total Wine pick)

Wild sour bubble game flavors-. This is so weird, but bold and spicy, you have to applaud its uniqueness...

I liked this when I first opened it, but it turned after half a year. I'm not sure why with two thirds of the bottle, it would go bad. Dirt and old oak notes indeed.
