spice on the nose, sharp as well. more mellow with the taste. a tad sweet as well. has some signature scotch smell that I can't identify. some dark fruit/sherry taste as well.

brine immediately coming off of Laphroaig. never really got the salt until now. other sharp stuff, but nothing jumping out

enough smoke for me to taste it, but I seem to to have adapted to a bit of the smoke. a tad sweetness on the nose, sharp taste. figs? I haven't had them a lot but there's a little bit of that taste. I don't actually taste the smoke a whole lot

tastes like a blend of Irish and rum. isn't as overly sweet as one might imagine however. perhaps because I've drank a lot of rum, I can get a lot of the flavors out of it and enhance my enjoyment of it

picked up sherry influence right away. didn't have the same scotch feel to it though. I'd say smoother, more mellow. delicious all around. can get some darker port notes when I think about it
