Nose is spicey rye and vanilla Palate vanilla cherry and continued rich spice Finish is drying and short

Nose is spice and burnt sugar Palate is spicy heavy at the front (I had to reread the bottle as I thought it might have been a rye) and then goes into vanilla and caramel with wood Finish is short dry with spice and wood

Nose is vanilla pears and oak Palate is vanilla and banana almost sickly sweet Finish is short, wood and spice and more vanilla banana cake

Nose is herbal, followed by slight caramel and almonds Palate is rich and spicy, toffee notes linger Finish is medium with continued spice and wood

Nose is caramel toffee and apples Palate is spicey wood, cinnamon and fruits, mainly apple Finish is warm and spicy Great bourbon as expected

Firstly, what a colour for a bourbon... bodes well for the tasting... Nose was vanilla apple pie and banana bread and light spice Palate is dark fruits, lots of oak and continued spice and caramel Finish is short and the wood continues to linger with the spice Would make an amazing old fashioned! 😍

I’ve waited a long time to try this as heard good things but I’ll be honest I was underwhelmed Nose was waxed oranges and some peanut brittle Palate is spice and wood. Reminded me of a rye in some respects. Not much else happening Finish was short and continued wood and spice None of the usual tastes and smells u get from a good bourbon. Is this because of the untraditional approach?

Not great! Plums and all spice on nose and the palate gives away the youth and the finish is non existent
