Tastes

This is a really great, bold whiskey - I feel like in phases it hit almost every flavor profile in turn - from spicy to grainy to woody. A great drink, I went with the 23 at the distillery but probably should have grabbed both.

Interesting but I felt it was far inferior to Double Oak personally.

There's a whole lot of peanut in here for me, I don't really understand why this puppy got less attention than previous years as I think it's pretty on par for a Parker's release. Very bold.

This is a very balanced high proofer. Definitely feels more like a rye to me than a traditional bourbon due the bill. Really like this one with a cube, poured from a bottle I hand selected at the distiller and sealed with my finger print in the sealing wax...

Another exceptional, really traditional classic bourbon from the Noe family. I get a mix of caramel and pepper, very warm but not too hot.

Far superior to distllers select, which sure aint bad. Very bold, a lot os oak and dried fruit

Yum. This is hot and sweet and needs a cube, but it blooms big snd mixes really well

Argh! I finally have a bottle. But i got handed it by jimmy russell himself. Should i drink it? Wwjd? Drink it. This is a damn masterpiece, the russell family are geniuses, anyone who dismisses wt is a fool.
