The nose is light smoke, and maybe butterscotch candies First sip was quite a bit of smoke for me, but sips after that being a peanut brittle, more smoke like a campfire starting to smolder, and a salty quality. Like sweet and salty back to the peanut brittle. Very enjoyable44.0 USD per BottleDayton

On the nose that smoke is present but dissipates rather quick. But the smoke I’m getting is more ash than anything. Second and third nose bring out a touch of honey and a briny quality. (I’ve seen that note posted a lot on here) First sip is that ash like smoke that fades to like bitter walnuts. Once acclimated to the ash smoke it turns more to the typical Famous Grouse flavors of that brine and honey again. Overall I like it. I thought Johnny Walker Black was a bit softer and more rounded, but I would buy this one again! Cheers!27.0 USD per Bottle

The nose has a melon, bazooka bubblegum like quality to it. The sip is buttered popcorn, tart candies, a tinge of ethanol that turns back to a slightly tart finish. That finish lingers a bit with tart cherry and a metallic quality. It is turning to sliced red delicious apples now I’m really liking it32.0 USD per Bottle

Batch 09 from Sweden This is an amazing whiskey. I echo the dried fruits, even pear, char, and vanilla all on the nose. Vanilla shines with cherries and cream with a touch of may red hots and a long finish touching on menthol and more candy. Amazing. My brother-in-law is from Sweden and picked a bottle up while there on a visit. Recommend if you can find it, cheers
