Corralejo Reposado Tequila

Reviewed April 28, 2021 (edited August 13, 2022)With a lime wedge on the glass it brings out the agave sweetness and that vegetal note that is there. On first sip it’s mellow and sweet and a tad Smokey with more vegetal and cooked agave. It’s dang good. -
Ezra Brooks 99 Proof Kentucky Straight Bourbon

Appleton Estate 8 Year Reserve Rum

Reviewed December 31, 2020 (edited November 19, 2021)This rum is really nice. It has that Appleton Estates nose of molasses and funk. The sip is a bit of ash, which leads to burnt sugar and then turns a tad bitter. I think it’s excellent (and am fascinated by what people notice in a drink like this!)
