Very sweet, but also a little harsh, more so than the Coffey. Makes me wish they still had an age statement. 88

Wow. The HP 25 really is a sherry bomb! Can’t taste any peat here but the heather aroma distinguishes this from a Highland whisky. Super rich, refined with a long finish. Best whisky I’ve ever had. The HP and Yamazaki 18 were my favorites so far but this one beats them with elegance and style. 98 points.

Possibly my favorite Bourbon so far. Quite the burn but great with some water. Sweet and aromatic, a classic. 92 points

This beat the Macallan Rare Cask and the Balvenie 21 but I still wouldn’t call it amazing, just very good. Sweet, fruity, some complex flavors I couldn’t discern but it didn’t quite blow me away. 94 points

Possibly my favorite Balvenie so far and I’ve had the 21 and the 30. The bourbon and sherry casks give lots of flavor and the burn isn’t as strong. 92 points

On second tasting, this is overrated. More spicy than sweet from the port. The Caribbean 14 is just as good. 91 points.

Complex, rich, a classic. 93 points, still overpriced though.

Really nice, though not amazing enough to justify the price. Very similar to the 18 yo in my opinion, woody and complex. 93

So disappointing. The only thing I got in addition to the 21 was gasoline - or acetone, as the whiskey exchange says. Strange... 90 points, really not worth the crazy price

This blend is served with an ice ball in Japan but it’s delicious neat. Sweet and smooth. 93 points
