My first Armagnac and what a winner! It’s complex, fruity, even a bit vegetal, and not too sweet as some Cognacs are. 94

This one is mostly smoky and salty, only a little sweet and fruity. Reminds me most of Tobasiche. Excellent 95

Amazing complexity - fruity and sweet from heavy use of Sherry casks but simultaneously there’s a typical Islay saltiness. But it’s more complex than that with an interesting muskiness on the finish. 96

Incredibly complex with aromas of fruity Sherry and some sweetness, maybe ice wine, as well as brinyness. The finish is incredible with an enhanced version of the sort of muskiness characteristic of Bruichladdich. 96

Beautiful sweet and fruity port finish. I’m not sure why all the Solists have 58%, they always need a bit of water. 93

Super interesting bourbon finish, unlike any I’ve ever had. Sweet and spicy, hot but good with a little water. 92

Very intense, this definitely has more character than the fricken Balvenie 21 portwood! Beautifully dark and fruity and surprisingly the alcohol is not too much. 93
