Tastes

Not one of my favorites....No sweetness at all...Tastes almost like a whiskey to me...Dry and has a pretty decent burn...Alcohol smell is prevalent on the nose for a rum at 37%abv...Fruity Woody and smoky... Makes a good mixed drink when added to something sweet...def not a sipper to me

This rum has flavors of banana...And butterscotch...It’s rich but not the richest...it’s very very good with a small ice cube and a twist of orange peel....When it waters down it actually becomes better because to me it’s a bit too sweet. It has lots of flavor...I can pick up different tastes in this one more than the usual.

Sweet but without having the flavor of added sugar....the sweet taste feels natural...Smooth very little burn if any at all....It does show some type of whiskey character a bit more than say Ron Zacapa 23..I can taste the oak and vanilla also tobacco a bit maybe leather..I would rank as my second favorite...have to say it’s a damn fine choice...My favorite rn is the Zacapa 23. if I could find a flavor in between this and the Zacapa it would be Ideal for me
