Vanilla and rum spice meets spicy rye. Excellent blend of the spice and sweet notes. Complex, best with a clean palette. Excellent whiskey with a stiff price.

Grassy and oat forward on the nose with a smell of leather. Very smooth easy drinking bourbon. Spicy notes but not overpowering with a generally sweet taste. Very enjoyable if the price was a bit lower. It's not going to taste like a typical bourbon but I think that's the point with this one.

More rye and less sweet. Almost seems like it's trying to be a bourbon. notes of vanilla and almond with a spicy note of rye. Aroma of sherry and caramel.

Star Hill Provisions (1 baked American pure 2, 4 seared French cuvee, 1 Maker's 46, 1 roasted french mocha, 3 toasted french spice) 110.1 proof. aroma of carmel, cinnamon, and vanilla, and heavy on the spice. Sweet and woody on the tongue with a long spicy and peppery finish. This is a great sipping bourbon with body and complex spices. For the proof it is incredibly smooth. I really enjoy this bourbon.
