For what it is, it’s very good. It’s a summer night drink to be mixed with iced tea and lemonade. Very refreshing. It’s not sipping whiskey. However, it’s more whiskey-ish than many of the other flavored whiskies, meaning it isn’t so sweet. The ones like Bird Dog and Old Smokey are too sweet and overwhelm the cocktail. This has just the right amount of sweetness to be a complement.16.99 USD per Bottle

Jim Beam Signature Craft Whole Rolled Oat Bourbon 11 Year
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed July 17, 2019Not bad, just different. To me, it has a little heat, but cinnamon-y, not peppery like a rye. I’m glad I got to try this.21.99 USD per Bottle -
Laws Four Grain Straight Bourbon Finished in Sauternes (Special Finish Series)
Bourbon — Colorado, USA
Reviewed May 24, 2019I am a huge laws fan. In fact, just bought a case of the four-grain bourbon today. That being said, this bottle was no good. The sweetness of the wine overpowered everything. It smelled like wine, and it tasted wine. Maybe a different wine cask would’ve imparted a complementary flavor, but not this one -
This was a great find at the liquor store. Slightly sweeter and more complex than regular Crown Royal, but very smooth and sip-able. I like the notes that the sherry aging added, and I especially like how this blend isn’t overpowered by the barrels it is aged in29.99 USD per BottleDaveco Beer, Wine & Spirits-Thornton
