Tastes

It’s okay. Nothing special. Decent amount of burn, but it has some fruit notes to it. I wanted to try it specifically because it had Woody Creek bourbon in it. The Woody Creek rye is phenomenal.

Really surprised at this. Nice and light, with a hint of smoke. Was enjoyable with my corned beef and cabbage for St. Patrick’s Day dinner

Not horrible, but not great. There’s cinnamon on the nose, and I think that’s what turns me off from this rye

Dang good. Good enough to get the wifey to to drink bourbon neat

Surprised at how good this was

I was looking forward to this, and was met with disappointment. It’s not bad, it’s just “meh.” The nose has a very strong alcoholic burn yo it that masks other scents. The taste does not show that burn, it goes down pretty smooth. There is a touch of rye spice, but not much flavor otherwise.

I didn’t like it at first. It had a “turpentine” taste to it. After sitting out for 30-40 minutes the taste changed and I was able to get the good caramel notes. Really not bad, but at the same price I’ve tasted better

Tasted like a bourbon with a little rye spice at the end. Pretty tasty

It’s not horrible, but the brandy is a little too strong of a mixer. I’m not a huge brandy fan, so the tase stands out to me

Wonderfully easy to drink at 125 proof. The toffee and brown sugar notes were very tasty and I definitely enjoyed this drink
