For the price... this bourbon is tough to beat. It’s balanced well beyond its price point. It’s well rounded nature will cater to the palate of most bourbon drinkers. Keep this one on the shelf when you plan to have guests

If you like full, rich bourbons, you’ll like this one. At 52%, it’s surprisingly approachable. Some heat up front gives way quickly to a robust palate of vanillas caramels and brown sugar. Medium long finish. Works nicely with a drop of water

I actually have the “Small Batch” instead of the “Single Barrel”. Sweet and spicy are the heavy notes up front and carry through the relatively short finish. Opens up nicely with a drop or two of water.

Rich, and deep. The butterscotch, vanilla and oak come out in a symphonic crescendo on the palate, with a little spice. The finish is long and buttery

This bourbon is all about sweetness. I’d call it sweet heat. It’s a “simple” sweeteness, coming from the corn and it’s got heat like moonshine. The barrel notes are all in the nose and the finish is short and sweet
