Four Roses Small Batch Select Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed December 25, 2020 (edited January 3, 2021)If you like full, rich bourbons, you’ll like this one. At 52%, it’s surprisingly approachable. Some heat up front gives way quickly to a robust palate of vanillas caramels and brown sugar. Medium long finish. Works nicely with a drop of water -
Davidson Reserve Single Barrel Bourbon
Bourbon — Tennessee, USA
Reviewed December 25, 2020 (edited November 20, 2021)I actually have the “Small Batch” instead of the “Single Barrel”. Sweet and spicy are the heavy notes up front and carry through the relatively short finish. Opens up nicely with a drop or two of water. -

Elijah Craig Small Batch Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed March 21, 2020 (edited May 18, 2020)Rich, and deep. The butterscotch, vanilla and oak come out in a symphonic crescendo on the palate, with a little spice. The finish is long and buttery29.0 USD per Bottle -
Hudson Baby Bourbon (DISCONTINUED)
Bourbon — New York, USA
Reviewed March 21, 2020 (edited May 8, 2020)This bourbon is all about sweetness. I’d call it sweet heat. It’s a “simple” sweeteness, coming from the corn and it’s got heat like moonshine. The barrel notes are all in the nose and the finish is short and sweet51.0 USD per Bottle
