What rye should taste like, a good earthy rye bread, rounded, nutty with a light dusting of cinnamon. Tight and needs to be opened with cold water, about 10% to get what the 100 proof delivers out of the bottle, yet still has the punch of flavor and hugs.

Butterscotch bomb with Balcones rye flavor on the front. Long high proof finish. Can’t wait to try with water.

Rye like nose, classic Tennessee taste, hint of licorice. Not quite as sweet as Jack, a working man’s dram for sure. Personally signed cap by Mike Rowe is the perfect touch to this majestic bottle.

Complex yet speyside like nose. Stronger/harsher than the proof shows stood out the most. Definitely need to dive into this dram multiple more times to truly understand.
