Tastes

Lots of oak in the nose. Sweet brown sugar taste, lacking the bite of rye. Tastes more like a spicy bourbon.

Neat, room temp. Cherry lollipop in the nose with a continuing hard candy or cough syrup flavor that hits hard up front then dissipates to a background note. A bit hot with a clear corn character. A few drops of water smooth it out a bit.

Neat, room temp. By the nose you wouldn’t know this isn’t rum. Strong sugar and vanilla. Dark fruit emerge at first sip with something vaguely medicinal in the background. A rye spiciness followed by a lingering tannic finish. Very unique- rich and complex.
