Butterscotch notes with a smooth finish.

Very smooth and sweet with Carmel notes.

Not a big fan. Too spicy and peppery.

Similarly smooth as Dewar’s 12 The Ancestor, however it has a richer body and more stable taste profile throughout. I agree with the expert, if you like The Ancestor, you may like this a bit more.

I’m not a huge Jack fan. However, this is a nice kick of a whiskey. The extra alcohol content is noticeable, but sometimes I like to drink something that makes certain I stay awake. Not something to sip if you are in a mellow mood. Reminds me of the “wake-up juice” Doc Brown drinks in Back to the Future 3... Great Scott!

Don’t let the “expert” fool you into thinking this is a bland bourbon. While it is a little more mild than recent bourbons in punch, it is just as good as the 12 year Dewar’s my wife and I just tasted with it. Great for sipping neat. A good contrast to the Jim Beam Black label.

Easy drinking scotch with sweet notes and a slight pep for a finish.
