I found this to be a surprisingly pleasant whisky for the price. No age certificate, of course, and given its deep brownish color, I’d guess that some of the spirits in the blend aren’t Japanese. Nevertheless, it’s pretty smooth, and I would strongly consider buying it again. Given how pretty the bottle is, it might be a nice gift.

Very drinkable and smooth. No off notes, but no distinguishing flavors, either.

I was less than dazzled by this one. Light in color, it has a sharpie pungent nose, and isn’t as smooth as some of my favorites, like the Nikka Coffey Grain.

Not my fave at all. I would not buy it again, and I'm tempted to write off everything from this distillery...it was that bad.

Remarkably good for the price. Not as good as the Nikka Coffey Grain that started your love affair with Japanese whisky, but definitely one to always have on hand.
