Tastes

Strong flavor. Filled with honey and hint of mint. Slightly earthy with some grass tones.

Goes in barrel 63.5. Absolutely great great whisky. Highly affordable and smack you in the face peat. Will always have a place on my shelf!

Creamy. Sweet. Almost frothy Port is a march made in heaven with islay whisky.

Excellent mixture of earthy and sweet. Bit of a dank quality. Bit of chalkiness from sherry casks. Super long finish. Delightful!

Tickles the tongue. Great long honey flavor. Shockingly high flavor for lower abv. QC. Nice peppery flavor. QC tend to impart a dryness in frog per Simon Brooking. Much lighter than typical frog. Buttery palate with hints of sugar. Like eating a sugar cookie.

Sweet with smoke. More delicate than most frogs but beautiful whisky. Has a bit of a menthol tinge. Hints of floral and sweet fruits. Very balanced and wonderful.

Powerful explosion of cinnamon and pepper on taste. Not quite as rich as corry but still wonderful. Finish for days. Amazing dram.
