Tastes

Fruity smoky sweetness. Really can tastes the hints of port cask. Lovely dram. Tastes of raisins and other dried fruits on finish. Bummer it will not be repeated.

Briney with wet rocks. Tobacco and worn leather. Hints of berries. Nice pop based on abv. Aggressive and assertive whisky. One you can sip on for hours. Finish for days.

Wood. Smoke. Long finish. Burnt sugar.

Tobacco and an ashtray. Brine. Little bit of sweetness.

Peeeeeatttt! Wonderful sweetness. Great mixture of peat and port.

Dry sherry with hints of sweetness. Passing notes of fresh green apples and wet grass. Long dry finish. Dried fruits. Leather.

Smoooookkkee. Watered down octomore. But still a tasty dram at 50% abv. Hints of sweetness on the backend but a nice sipper.

Smoke with a faint hint of sweetness. Nice longer finish. Not very complex.

Very sweet notes. Pickup port immediately on nose. Maybe a tea leaves finish? Not my favorite. Very delicate. Nice summer dram.

One of my favorite drams. Although getting harder and harder to find. Beautiful honey-amber color. Absolutely crackin dram! Initial taste is pepper and vanilla. The high abv is welcomed and aids in the taste explosion. Finish is nice and long. Talking minutes here for sure. Almost seems to move from front to back of your tongue. On second taste I am picking up more vanilla and earthy tones. Truly Islay! Excellent dram!
