Macallan Fine Oak 10 Year
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed March 2, 2014 (edited October 23, 2014)Great biscuit and citrus notes with just enough spice to give it more than just a one trick pony. This is a scotch for your friends whose palates need some growth or for ones who prefer more bourbon than single malt. -
Subtle is the key term here. There's some honey with less vanilla and an even simpler form of what resembles peach and a floral arrangement. There's not a lot of depth however the spices aren't so much that you miss out on what the drink intends to share with you. Great for an all night share with friends, anyone could partake and find pleasure in the subdued palate this provides.
