Tastes

Immediate smell of wine on the nose. A deeper waft reveals a hint of apple and caramel. Honey and butterscotch on the tongue. Overwhelmingly wine forward throughout. Hoping for a buildup that never came. A decent sip.

The nose opens with slight oak and a hint of mint followed by caramel on second smell. brown sugar and oak on the tongue with a nice long finish that fades to an almost Madeira finish. Mellow sweet apple and baking spices finish this dram.

we opened this bottle on a special night. the occasion? life! last opened in 2015. peanuts. so many tastings tonight. sorry for the terrible review 🤣

immediate flourish of bubblegum and bright orange on the nose. deeper inspection brings buttered popcorn chocolate and butterscotch. a slow burn on the tongue. light astringency. chocolate and vanilla. creamy and smooth.

An initial and immediate nose of honeydew. the most subtle and balanced nose of baked goods and warm unleavened dough. the slightest bit of cardamom and allspice. a barely-there hint of brine. such a smooth and clean taste. peanut shells and cinnamon. creamy mouthfeel. more cinnamon and sugar. slight orange aftertaste. 9/10.
