Tastes

On the palate, it's a mouthful. Peaty, spicy, sherried.

Oak bomb! Vanilla and mint, long peppery, minty finish.

The nose has something there that I can't identify other than to say it reminds me of a bathroom cleaner I remember from years ago (I don't say this in a bad way, just trying to identify it). On the palate, I get sweetness - some vanilla and spices and maybe some tropical fruit in there as well (pineapple?) and salt as it develops. This is my favorite out of the LMDW Version Francaise releases I've had so far!

Nose is very light, hard to find much there. On the palate, some citrus maybe lemon.. but mostly generic grain and hay. The peat is definitely there, but it's light.

Nose and palate both immediately remind me of my mother's chocolate chip cookies! Otherwise there are still some rough edges on the palate where the spirit seems a little unbalanced.

Sweetness on the nose and palate, probably from the cask. Uncomplicated spirit that's a pleasant sipper.

Oak and vanilla, but not annoying levels. Sweetness and pepper with a long finish.

Sweet, oaky but balanced palate.
