Tastes

Solid American Single malt. Lighter than Scotch. Early malt flavor fades into a thin but pleasant and persistent peppery finish. More like 3.5 stars.

complex but not muddled flavor profile with a strong infusion of yeasty/malty taste, presumably from the porter base, that appears after the first lighter cereal taste and persists into a moderate finish. Quite accessible. Good introduction to American single malt.

Long and complex flavor profile. I get less bitterness than many others, but taste the hops with a remarkably persistent floral finish.
