Tastes

Kind of a floral smell and taste. Very light. Pretty bad finish honestly. Very soft and sweet. Vanilla.

Typical wonderful bourbon smell of vanilla. Somehow some floral fruit in there. Incredible velvety texture. “Dusty” and musty like 80s bourbon according to bartender. Spicy finish. Doesn’t smell spicy but doesn’t have that weird burn like some spice does for me. Must be some rye in here.

Another husk selection. So good. Has peppery smell. Like burnt caramel. Finish is loooooong and complex. 104.5 proof. Marci says it’s incredibly consistent. Thick mouthfeel too.

Woah very interesting. Nose started with strawberry and now has scents of malt. The plate is sweet and has tea and is just so unique. Super good.

Green tea with extremely floral notes. Drank well for 118. Pretty delicate flavor. Light and floral and kinda sweat. But green tea for sure. Barrel pick at husk. 5 year purple top

Nose is pretty interesting. Quite sweet with fruit tones. Palate and nose are both heavy with molasses. Fruit comes first and then warm cinnamon and sweetness. Never ever has any burn. Finish is long and amazing. Excited for this to open up.

Incredible. Nose and palate and finish are all really complex. Some Orange/citrus on the nose and palate. The spices are really balanced with sweet notes. I don’t feel like this is a “spicy” bourbon. The mouthfeel doesn’t feel heavy but is certainly somewhat buttery. Delicious. Will probably mellow out more over time.

Really like this. Tastes a little thin and sweet with perfect rye spice. Finish is somewhat short. Some really unique spices in there.

Absolutely amazing. The nose is better than any bourbon I’ve encountered. Definitely hot and hard to handle. Has so much mouthfeel and flavor. Lots of similar flavors to OWA but times ten. Definitely spot on with the review. Spicier than anticipated. Water helps bring out the big flavors.

Pure glory. Not too sweet or buttery. More spice and pepper and leather. The nose is fantastic. Finish is long and complex. Just opened the bottle!
