Nose a bit muted neat. A little water definitely opens it up a bit. The high proof can handle a small cube no problem. Toasty, spicy and oily on the tongue. Winter warming finish.

Dumped on 4-25-16 from barrel 527, warehouse on Rick 40. Sugar shack / maple sugar on snow nose which surprises with a peppery taste and long smooth finish. Terrific neat but a small cube really opens it up. Orange chocolate too. This one has lots of complexity.

A beauty. Campfire nose, caramel and butterscotch taste and luxuriously weighty. Love it. So good neat. May need to try a cube to see how it blooms. My fave Woodford is the White Corn but this is a very close 2nd.

Batch 006, Bottle 15,410. Haven’t had any of this for quite some time. I agree with some of the other reviews that indicate that it seems to get better, 1/2 bottle seems better than a full bottle. I find it has a floral nose but a peppery sweet taste and short vanilla finish. Enjoyed it neat. Would love to know the source of this one. Any guesses or intel?

Smoother than the other reviews say and quite drinkable.
