Straight up it tastes like a moonshiner made a bourbon. Wonder why. On the rocks or with a splash the flavors come out and gives a great balanced flavor traditional to American whiskey.

Challenging taste. Not for whiskey novices at all. Full flavor and much smoother on the rocks or with a splash. The bitterness and spices outweigh the sweetness giving an off balance taste. If you want a serious change of pace, this is it. Not a daily drinker for me.

Smooth and sweet from first sip to last. This is the best whiskey I can remember and the whiskey that made me truly love Bourbons. If given a chance, buy it, invite friends and polish the bottle off in one go. Pappy who?
