Dark amber in colour. Leathery, Cinnamon, sweet apple and Vanilla on the nose which follows through on the pallet with a beautiful creamy mouth feel. Long smooth finish makes this an absolute winner in my book. 5ml of water opens up the flavour. 4.8/5

Very full and a little too much spice and heat for me in the after taste, there are many better in this price range 3/5

My favourite bourbon so far. Just complex enough to keep you interested, got more enjoyable with every sip. Perfect amount of spice with a long smooth finish. 5/5 for me

2008 - Didnt quite live up to the 96 rating but good nonetheless. Crisp, Apple on the nose and pallet with a spicy finish. 3/5

A truely surprising drop, not the most complex bourbon out there, but definitely a contender for my favourite everyday/house whiskey. Strong Vanilla and Toffee notes make it a winner straight or in a cocktail, superb value for money. 4/5
