Tastes

Nose is briny and elusive, bread and honey but on the palate, fruit, citrus, light spices, a briny edge and a dash of smoke. Not sweet, not exactly smooth either, but the finish is long and begs for another sip. Add water and it gets nutty and ends with notes of chocolate

Nose has oak and sugar. On the palate you get more oak, sugar, caramel. Finish is short and has more of the same

Oak, caramel, sugar, vanilla

Bright gold in color with a pink hue, nose is creamy with hazelnut, pear. Palate is smooth, sweet, and creamy with fudge and fruit. Finish is short, cream and nutty

Deep gold or amber in color. Nose has oak, vanilla, fruits (orange and apple?). The palate has sweet fruits, orange, cherries? Finish is on the longer side, with more fruit and some brown spices, sugar.. Water brings out some of the spices surprisingly, and makes the finish much shorter. This bottle was from barrel 851, distilled in 2009 and bottled 2017.
