Forty Creek has a clear, copper appearance, with uniform alcohol legs. The aroma is of deep, charred oak and roasted corn. The flavor is of almond extract, charred oak, dark-roasted corn, some rye spice, honey, and nectar. The body is medium, and Forty Creek Barrel Select finishes moderately long. RJT

King's County Peated Bourbon has a copper appearance, with significant sediment. The aroma is of whiskey-saturated oak, caramel, and a possible smoke pickup. The taste is of those elements, with sugared fruit. The body is medium, and the finish is medium long. RJT
