Reviewed November 24, 2020 (edited May 5, 2023)This is certainly NOT an American single malt whiskey, but rather a Kentucky blended whiskey, at an 80:20 blend ratio. Bottled at Frankfort, KY (Buffalo Trace). No age statement, so it's 4+ years old (the straight whiskies). The appearance is of clear gold, with thin, uniform alcohol legs. The aroma is of creamy vanilla, very subdued charred oak, and generalized corn spirits. Taste is of sugary corn candy, some vanilla, a touch of charred oak, nectar, and grain spirits. Body is medium, and Ancient Age Preferred finishes moderate long. RJT8.99 USD per Bottle -

Tennessee Whiskey — Tennessee, USA
Reviewed November 5, 2020 (edited January 29, 2021)Dickel 12 has a clear, tan appearance, with widely-spaced, long alcohol legs. The aroma is of candy corn, charcoal, whiskey-saturated oak, and plum. The flavor is of corn grits, sourdough bagel, charred oak, and some flower nectar. The body is medium, and Dickel 12 finishes medium long. RJT12.5 USD per Bottle -
Clear, lighter gold appearance, with uniform alcohol legs. Aroma- sweet, mild bread dough & crust, with some corn smell. Taste- some grain bite, but also sugary bread dough, caramel, and candle wax.
