Listen, I realize this is high quality bourbon, and it is indeed good. But it burns like hell. The good thing is it's so alcoholic that you'll get your money's worth for the pace in which you need to drink it.

Drank plenty of this during the holidays -- smoothest rye I've ever tasted. Not too much of a burn but definitely has some spice.

Maybe it was the expectation leading up to this whiskey but I was pretty disappointed. Tasted like almost all alcohol and burn at first. Not opposed to giving a second try.
