Highland Park 12 Year Viking Honour
Single Malt — Islands, Scotland
Reviewed February 28, 2020 (edited April 10, 2020)This is probably the scotch I have enjoyed the most in all the years of taisting and enjoying whiskey. I get campfire smoke, green apple, lemon, and honey on the nose. Starts sweet and creamy then moves into peat smoke and pineapple with baking spices on the finish and that lovely campfire smoke again. So glad this exists and is so readily available. I look forward to many future drams.Sierra Springs Liquor -

Sherry notes are very forward on the nose along with hints of grass and toasted cereal. The initial taste is fruity with apple and something sweet. Not much barrel spice and a bit of smoke or that toasted cereal again. It starts off smooth but there is some cinnamon burn on the finish that I seem to get from most Highland Scotches.44.0 CAD per Bottle
