I didn't like this as good as the 5 year. It definitely has that "funk" the review spoke of. It tastes like they took the 5 year and just aged it in different barrels. The underlying rum is good, but the funk flavor is a little much for me.

Really smooth. Great sipper around the fireplace. Description is accurate; creme brûlée, sweet toffee and citrus abound. $24 in NC, a great value! Enjoy!
