Tastes

This is a very good bottle, and I can definitely tell this is the same family of the old HH white label I used to hunt near the bottom shelf of my liquor store. It’s very front and center with its flavor, and I didn’t get as much of the oak as other tasters for some reason. This is a good bourbon, and one I’m gonna enjoy having around for a while.

This was pretty damn good, especially paired with a little dessert after a fine Italian dinner. Smooth smooth, with that characteristic calm but complex sweetness I love in Willet bourbon.

Unexpectedly smooth for a Double Rye, and I enjoyed it with my pork belly special. Not as peppery as I usually like, but lovely nonetheless.

It tasted better after the first drink, but definitely an up-front, ready to roll bourbon. Wish it had some more age on it, because the complexity is promising. Obvs a good bourbon, just not my fave.

My wife loves this stuff, and this bottle is probs kind of oxidized by now. But it’ just kinda alright.
