Tastes

Tastes like any other bourbon I've tried

Nose: not much to the nose. Could barely smell the oak and caramel. Taste: caramel, wood, oak Finish: strong taste of the alcohol

Smell: toasty. It has the smell of an Asian pastry that I like. Kind of like mooncake. Taste: again, it has the taste of that pastry. However, the flavor drops off very quickly as it goes through the palate. Good wood taste. Not very full-bodied. Finish: not much of the taste lingers in the finish. Overall, not bad for the cost.

Nose: sweet, caramel, wood and oak, metallic Taste: vanilla, not as much sweetness or caramel, good wood taste Finish: long lasting wood taste

Nose: vanilla, caramel, toffee, not too overpowering Taste: full bodied, toffee, slight metallic Finish: full bodied

Nose: fruity Taste: slight caramel and sweetness, slight wood Finish: same as the taste with more woodiness

Nose: sweet, caramel, vanilla, slight metallic, has the smell of a bourbon Taste: also seems to have the taste of a bourbon but with a more woody, oaky taste. Finish: the wood taste lingers in the palate. Also a subtle smokiness.

Nose: peatiness and smokiness is more subtle. Taste: the peatiness and smokiness is more intense and sharp on the taste. Some leather Finish: long-lasting peatiness and bitterness

Nose: mild smoke, sweet, mild fruitiness, mild caramel Taste: the peatiness is lighter than most peat malts. Woody, fruity. Smokiness is also lighter. Finish: leather, savory, meaty
