Appearance: Dark amber, a little reddish. Nose: Rye spice, cinnamon, cloves, corn, bourbon sweetness. Palate: Much like the nose, but stronger all around. Some wood. Truly savory. Slight burn. Excellent mouth feel. Finish: Medium, spicy, faint char, woody sweetness. Overall: This is the good stuff. Rich in flavor, remarkably smooth despite it's proof. A fair price. If it was a touch sweeter it would be perfect, but it's already fantastic anyway.22.99 USD per Bottle

Appearance: Dark Amber Nose: Caramel, sweetness, pungent Palate: Caramel, sweet corn, some faint rye, touch of char. Balanced, with solid weight. Finish: Caramel again, corn, bitter char. Overall: I wish I got this in a non-dusty glass bottle. Likely would have been better. All in all a good bourbon for the money. Will definitely buy again, but in a glass bottle.

Forewarning, this is not a drink for everyone. Appearance: Relatively clear. Nose: Plum with crisp alcohol. Pleasant, but strong. Palate: Lot's of powerful clean alcohol, very strong. Also notes of dry plum with minimal sweetness (not nauseating like many other plum brandies I've tried). Finish: More clean alcohol and dry plum. A touch of woodiness? Short and slightly bitter. Overall: As I said before this is NOT for everyone. Most will make a contorted face, possibly cough, and feel like death is upon them as the liquid feels so slick and powerful it reminds many of lighter fluid or paint thinner. The thing is I actually found this enlivening. The nose, palate, and finish were just so pure, straightforward, tasty, and refreshingly dry that I couldn’t help, but enjoy it. It actually put thoughts of central Europe in my mind and made me not care at all about the obvious lack of complexity. Note: This drink was provided by family. I have no idea as to the cost.
