Pepper pepper pepper. Big smoke flavor, nice and spicy on the tongue. Notes of cigar ash on the finish.

Peat and smoke. Bacon and burnt ends of some kind of meat. Even got notes of a freshly blown out candle at one point on the nose. Wonderfully balanced, and that meaty bacon flavor makes it a favorite. Second bottle I got was lighter on the bacon and felt a little one dimensional with the peat. Although I’m writing this 2nd part now because I just got very strong fresh-cut grass notes on the nose that were just incredible. Found at the very last pour of the bottle.

Very flavorful. Big peat and sharp medicinal on the nose. Taste: Salty, oily, maybe seaweed? Slight band-aid notes. Turns to vanilla, toffee notes. Something sweet and candied, possibly cereal? Similar to Lagavulin 16. Peppery if you keep it in your mouth long enough. Overall very good, especially for the price.
