Like a Macallan without “rubber band” on the nose. There is a herbal side that plays against the sweetness and results in a confusing but interesting “nose” explosion. The taste is a campfire “s’more” sweet and cinnamon with a Smokey undertone. This is your every night dram, or the dram you pour for the friends who are no longer relegated to the JW Red, but are not yet worthy of your Springbank or (enter your back of the cupboard favorite dram here).
