This is not bad meat. Spicy and sweet nose. Cherry and charred oak make way to a bitter and spicy finish. With a few drops of water it is sweeter, with peach and caramel. Very nice.

Some nutty toasted notes on the nose. Creamy mouthfeel, with lots of spice on the finish (on the tongue but not in my throat). Added a rock and get some bitter orange notes, and the cinnamon spice is more rounded.

A spicy nose, with a little vanilla. Warm and spicy caramel with cinnamon on the pallet. A lot more heat than I’d expect from 90 Proof. Paired well with my La Flor Dominicana Ligero. Later dropped a rock in it and yum get a sweet and spicy bomb.

Charred oak and fruit, with a moderate burn. With a large rock it has some fruity sweetness. Enjoyable. Not the longest finish.

My bottle is the Total Wine Winter Selection, consisting of: 3x seared French Oak Cuvée 6x Roasted French Mocha 7x Toasted French Spice Lots of oak in the nose and coating the mouth. Nice toast and spice, with an incredible toasted almond finish. Superb.

More sweet than spice. Some vanilla and fruit not overly oaked flavors. Nice with a large rock. Without the rock it’s warm with cinnamon finish.
