So nicely balanced, the smoke is there but it complements the rest of the flavour. I'd take this over all the single malts that I have tasted so far. Cue the snobs who will say this isn't complex! Grain, oh the terrible grain! Chill filtered, the horror!

Dry on the finish. Flavourful, dark berry. Bit of a disappointment so far. Maybe Speyside is not my thing. Setting it aside for a while, I will revisit it later.
