Very solid bourbon for sipping or cocktails.

I love this stuff. So well balanced. Peat, salty ocean, richness, fruit.

Delicate peat overlays pear and other fruit and herbal notes. A wonderful sipper, with the age clearly mellowing out any harshness it once had. The only knock against it is that it might be a bit too delicate for some.

Like drinking an old bookshelf.... in a kinda good way. The oakiness is borderline overpowering in this one, but it is definitely rich and flavorful. You just really have to like that element.

Talk about a rich bourbon! Wonderful spice and sweetness. Flavor for days. Typical bourbon flavor profile turned up to 11.

Limited release from Knob Creek. A lovely unique bourbon. Has that typical oakiness of Knob Creek, but adds a wonderful Christmas spice element and removes some of the usual bourbon sweetness. Also has a warm leatheriness on the tongue and a nice herbal spice on the finish. Almost like a wonderful Armagnac with a touch of funky rancio as well.
