Tastes

Smells like fresh cut oak, tastes of vanilla and smoke very clean drink, I enjoyed.

On the nose it smells almost like a cake with vanilla frosting. In the mouth there is a pinch of rye spice/pepper on the front of the mouth with very little burn or in fact any sensation in the back of the mouth. Little chest warmth for a 90, quite smooth but a bit bland.

Smells strong vanilla with a hint of fruit (cherry?) can feel the proof on the nose. Taste starts with a cinnamon bite and finishes with hints of dark cherry and smoke. But of an oily mouth but a wonderful aftertaste. Not very much chest burn and fairly smooth for 90 proof.

Smells of vanilla and some fruit, maybe bananas. Tastes of sweet vanilla with the fruit flavor changed (can’t quite place it) and a nuttiness. I love this bourbon.
