The nose of this bourbon has a distinct fruity sweetness to it with a hint of ethanol. I expected some heat from it but was pleasantly surprised by its smoothness. There is a certain smoky tobacco flavor as the bottle suggests but a hint of caramel as well. The aftertaste is fruity but I expected more since the flavor was on the bottle. Overall, a really fantastic pour to enjoy at a fire or watching tv.

New Riff 4 Year Single Barrel Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed October 16, 2021 (edited October 30, 2021)Not a particularly strong nose but hints of cherry. Smooth start with a little heat as the drink continues. Finishes with a spiciness of pepper and a hint of cherry I think. -
Little Book Chapter 5: The Invitation
Blended American Whiskey — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed October 15, 2021 (edited November 19, 2021)The smoothness of this bourbon is incredible. The nose smells like oak and vanilla. The taste is prominently vanilla and oak on the front end with a complex Smokey finish I am honestly having trouble identifying. Worth the purchase I’d say. -
