Tastes

Solid 3.5 here. Nose is pleasantly acidic but fruity in the end. Kind of like an over ripe grapefruit with s drizzle of agave nectar from Jalisco. Palette is less sweet with a hint of honey from the middle on to the end. Somewhat sweeter than EW black and way less vanilla than EW white label. Great well bourbon for home bar. Any review by me is always about straight bourbon. The only thing I want with my whiskey is a glass.

Rich palate with slight sweet up front sliding gently into a bit of smokiness. Clean crisp finish with just enough bite to know you are drinking a proper bourbon.

Like a fire burning through a peat bog, this one brings Isley to the party. If you like smoke and iodine this is a winner. My newest go-to scotch. All for under $100 a bottle.
