Old Forester 1920 Prohibition Style
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed May 28, 2021 (edited June 13, 2021)Get fruit on the smell, but spicy on the taste with a strong bite. Will definitely keep this in my rotation for as long as it is available -
You get the oak barrel smell at first pour. Cinnamon and spice right off first sip. I understand why many say it has a “Thanksgiving feel” from the spices included in this one. Surprised it is almost 116 proof, for it doesn’t have much of a bite. Good bourbon, I feel a little overrated via this app however. I give it above average but not nearly at the top of my list.

Willett Pot Still Reserve Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed March 21, 2021 (edited May 19, 2021)Per the price tag I’m not entirely impressed. But overall not a bad bourbon. Had over rocks, definitely get leather and char on the taste but not overpowering. Would have again, but I do feel you can get just as good bourbon for less then $50-60. -
Rabbit Hole Boxergrail Kentucky Straight Rye
Rye — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed February 28, 2021 (edited March 6, 2021)Had on the rocks, get a cinnamon spice after taste at the end. -
Weller Special Reserve Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed February 14, 2021 (edited February 17, 2021)Refreshing is the best way to describe it. Definitely get the smell of caramel apple under the nose. It went down extremely smooth, but I had on the rocks which I feel took away from the taste and the bite that I generally like from my bourbons. This is easily a beverage you can just have neat. -
Jefferson's Ocean Aged At Sea Voyage 20
Bourbon — USA
Reviewed February 13, 2021 (edited February 14, 2021)Get hints of caramel and salty after tones. Could have more of a bite but excellent to drink neat -
Jefferson's Reserve Very Old Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed December 5, 2020 (edited December 28, 2020)Sweet taste which I feel is odd for a bourbon. Went down smooth
