Tamdhu Batch Strength Batch 002
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed December 16, 2017 (edited November 11, 2020)Wonderfully complex. Discovering more and more the longer I drink it. The nose is heavenly: an amber perfume note, sherry, vanilla, honey. Very inviting. There is quite a long development here. Slight marzipan note on the taste. Bitter sweet. Moreish. The finish is spicy and long. Lovely dram. -
Singleton of Dufftown 12 Year
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed December 15, 2017 (edited February 6, 2020)Pleasant enough whisky. Caramel, sherry, lots of oak, dried fruit, damson and apples on the nose. Taste could be fuller and rounder. Slightly peaty finish which did linger a while.
